EightCap

Terms of Use

The rules for reading and reusing the independent editorial material on this site about EightCap for South African readers.

Can I copy or republish what I read here?

A reader once copied a full paragraph from a review on this site into a public forum and added a line saying it came from here. That was fine. A different reader lifted the same paragraph, changed the broker's name to another firm, and posted it as their own comparison. That was not fine. The example shows the line clearly enough: you may quote and share short extracts for personal, non-commercial reading or discussion, as long as you credit this site and link back to the page you took the words from. You may not republish whole articles, rewrite them with another firm's name substituted, strip the attribution, or present the material as your own editorial work.

The reviews, comparisons, and explanatory pieces on this site are written for readers in South Africa who want a plain account of what EightCap offers. They are editorial material, not a feed for other websites, newsletters, or marketing pages. If you want to reproduce more than a short extract, or use the material in anything commercial, ask through the contact form on this site and wait for a written answer before you do it. Nothing on this site grants you a licence to use its name, logo, or layout.

Quoting a sentence or two with a clear link is welcome. Copying the substance and passing it off as independent work is not. The distinction is the same one any editor would apply to their own pages.

Who is allowed to use this site, and from where?

Anyone may read the public pages, but the site is written for adults in South Africa who are considering a broker and want an independent view of EightCap. By using the site you confirm that you are old enough to enter a contract where you live and that you are not barred by local law from reading material about brokerage services. If you access the site from another country, you do so on your own initiative, and you are responsible for checking whether the content is appropriate or lawful where you are.

This site is not the broker. It does not open accounts, take deposits, place orders, or hold client money, and it does not provide financial services of any kind. It is an editorial resource, unaffiliated with EightCap. Nothing here is an invitation to trade or an offer of any product. If you want to open an account, you deal with the broker directly and under its own terms, not with this site.

Access is provided as it stands. You agree not to interfere with the site's operation, not to attempt to break its security, and not to use automated tools to scrape or republish its content at scale.

Is any of this personal advice for me?

No. A reader may write to ask whether EightCap suits a small starting balance, and the honest answer is that this site cannot say. The material here is general editorial comment on a broker's published features, costs, and conditions, written for a broad South African audience. It is not personalised advice, it does not take account of your income, debts, experience, or goals, and it is not a recommendation that you open an account, deposit money, or trade any instrument.

Broker terms, fees, and product availability change, and the site cannot guarantee that every detail matches the broker's current pages at the moment you read it. You should check the broker's own documents before acting. If you need advice tailored to your situation, speak to a qualified professional who knows your circumstances. Decisions you take after reading this site are your own, and this site accepts no responsibility for them.

Nothing in these terms creates a client, advisory, or fiduciary relationship between you and this site.

What if one part of these terms does not hold up?

These terms are written to be read as a whole. If a court or regulator finds that one sentence or one clause is unenforceable, invalid, or unlawful, that part will be treated as removed to the smallest extent necessary, and the rest of the terms will continue in force as if the removed part had never been written. The same applies if a provision is found to be too broad: it will be read down to the narrowest version that remains enforceable.

All trademarks, brand names, and logos mentioned on this site, including the EightCap name and mark, belong to their respective owners. They are used here for identification and editorial comment only. Their use does not imply any endorsement, partnership, or affiliation between this site and the owner of the mark, and nothing on this site grants you any right to use them.

If you have a question about these terms, or about reusing material, use the contact form on this site.
